Modules of Spanish as a Foreign Language course

In order to make the most of this program, it is advisable to take the following aspects into account:

New users are expected to hold a Beginner level (A1) based on the Common European Framework of Reference. Therefore, it is not necessary to have a previous knowledge of Spanish.

The Spanish as a Foreign Language course is made up of 12 modules, each consisting of 6 lessons. Each of these lessons is linked to one of several grammar topics, fostering the linguistic and communicative skills necessary to develop the expected learning. For this, multimedia elements have been incorporated in audio and video format where grammar, pronunciation and of course the application in context are analyzed within the academic, social, cultural, personal, and global interest areas.

Do I have to be a UVEG student to study at the Language Center?

No, our language center is available to anyone who wants to learn a new language. No matter if you’re not an UVEG student.

On what devices can I take my Language Center classes?

You can access it from any computer, tablet or smartphone (IOS and Android) with internet access, through the portal: https://idiomas.uveg.edu.mx/.

At the end of each module, do I obtain a document that endorses the knowledge acquired?

The accreditation documents are downloaded in digital format and are available once you finish each module. This document is not considered as a language certificate.

Does the certificate contain the teaching hours for each course?

No, this information is not included in the record, since the hours of study depend on each person.

What languages can I study at the UVEG Language Center?

At the UVEG language center you have courses to learn the following languages: English, Japanese, French and German at an elementary level, free access.
And Currently, we have 2 modules of Spanish as a Foreign Language, 16 modules of English, 8 modules of Japanese, 8 modules of French and 6 modules of German.
All modules are taught for Spanish speakers, just Spanish as a Foreign Language is the one taught from English to Spanish.
Each module offers 30-40 hours of self-study work.

If I have previous knowledge in any language they offer, do they have a diagnostic exam?

In none of the free access languages and also in the Spanish as a Foreign Language Course, is a placement or diagnostic exam being administered at this time. If you want to study a language you must start with module 1.

What level of Spanish may I get when I have finished the two Spanish Modules?

First two modules are the beginning of the journey, you will be on the basis of the language, relating on A1.
